Elevate - April Prayer Meeting

About Elevate

Elevate is a monthly prayer and encouragement call for believers active in the film industry -- producers, writers, actors, directors, agents, managers, whomever -- at any stage of their journey.  Our central goal is to create a space for film professionals to experience afresh the grace, peace, and Presence of Jesus in the midst of their unique and sometimes demanding callings.

We celebrate the diversity of Christian expressions and have a high value for structure so that the calls are participatory, helpful, and safe. Encouragements, space for sharing authentic needs, and prayer for each other, the industry, and other related topics are examples of how we'll spend the 60 minutes together. Our facilitators most of all desire to follow the Lord's leading, as our primary goal is for individuals to connect with God in the midst of their journeys and be refreshed. In case you're wondering, this is not a networking call. We want to make space for believers to receive prayer and encouragement and get refreshed without getting barraged with a bunch of requests or LinkedIn messages. This doesn't mean that partnerships or friendships won't spring from these times or relationships; we just want to prioritize a space for film professionals to be loved and refreshed with no strings attached. We celebrate existing prayer and film support groups focused on film and entertainment, and hope to add to the range of communities serving these important needs.
